Simposio Biofísica

Bienvenidos
The Costa Rican Biophysics Symposium is back with its third edition in hybrid format!

The Costa Rican Biophysics Symposium is a forum for students, faculty, and scholars to learn about cutting-edge research in biophysics and related fields of study. We invite outstanding speakers to share their research findings and inspire the next generation of scientists. In order to widen its impact and foster collaboration with Costa Rican and international scientists, we have paired with the CR Congress Chemistry 2024 to host a joint event at Universidad Nacional in Heredia, Costa Rica.

The Costa Rican Biophysics Symposium was first organized by three Costa Rican researchers with experience in biophysics, including a total of seven in-person talks. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the second edition was performed as a two-day virtual event with 15 speakers from the United States of America, Switzerland, France, Germany, and Costa Rica. We are excited to announce the third edition as a hybrid event with virtual and in-person talks to encourage participation of researchers all over the world, while allowing networking and in-person activities.

Registration and abstract submission will be conducted via the CR Congress Chemistry 2024 website. Virtual participation fees will allow access to streaming of virtual and in-person talks, whereas in-person participation fees include most meals and access to talks from both the Costa Rican Biophysics Symposium and the CR Congress Chemistry 2024. Questions for the Organizing Committee can be sent to CRBiophysics@gmail.com.
